What GoodOn keeps, and what it never does
A plain summary of how the product handles your data and the data of people who open your links.
The full privacy policy and terms of service are being finalised. This page summarises how the product works today.
Your account
Accounts use Google or GitHub. GoodOn receives your name, email address and avatar from that provider, never your password, and stores sessions only as a hash.
What you store
Jobs, interviews, follow-ups, career profiles and resumes you create, plus files such as a resume photo and the LaTeX source and PDF of each version you publish. Everything is scoped to your account.
People who open your share links
GoodOn counts each time a link is opened, with the time only. It does not store their IP address, browser or device details.
- Your email and phone number are removed from the shared copy, both the web page and the PDF.
- Fields you’ve hidden never appear.
- Links expire after at most 30 days, and you can revoke them at any time.
AI analysis
The AI helper that analyses your profile and suggests fixes is run by GoodOn. Its suggestions aren’t saved unless you choose to keep them.
Export and deletion
From your account page, download a ZIP of everything you’ve stored, or delete your account. Deletion is permanent and immediate, and removes stored files too.
PDF previews aren’t stored. Published versions stay until you delete your account.
